The stray animal situation of San Juan City is saddening–neglected pets roam the streets, overpopulation in the city pound, and animals face inhumane treatment. We aim to inspire the community to become part of the PAWmily.
Our Advocacy
We advocate for the neglected stray animals in the San Juan City area, where these animals are sent to the pound without proper treatment. Stray animals that roam the streets often face neglect and abuse, as they also struggle with harsh living conditions and the lack of their essential needs. LGUs in San Juan City are authorized to catch stray animals in the city and transport them to the pound when they receive community reports of animals posing health risks.
